Sara graduated from RMIT Australia in 1999. She has worked in Victoria and South Australia before moving to the UK in 2001.

Sara has worked throughout England and Scotland before settling in Putney as the owner of Spirohealth.

Sara has a special interest in treating sporting injuries and has completed further training and education in this area. With a 20 year history of dance including jazz, Latin, ballroom and recently salsa, and 7 years as a fitness and aerobics instructor, Sara loves helping people reach their fitness and sporting goals. She has worked with the Leeds United Football Club (2001), London Rowing Club (since 2002) and various professional and amateur athletes in a spectrum of sports, as well as assisting the Southampton Sailing Club train and prepare for the fastest race of 2003.

Other areas Sara has experience in treating include: cervico-genic headaches and migraines; back, neck and shoulder problems; joint, posture and muscle problems; leg pain, sciatica, and disc problems. She also offers advice on nutrition having competed 5 years of nutritional training in her chiropractic degree.

Sara has a passion for fun and adventure and loves dancing, travelling, scuba diving, water and snow skiing among other things. She has competed in dancing, swimming and triathlon competitions and well as completing her first half marathon in 2008.

Mark Tucker

Mark was born and raised in Durban South Africa, graduating from Natal Institute of Technology in 1999 and immigrated to the UK in 2000. 

The first 5 years he spent working in a clinic based within his squash club and gym thus his main focus was sports injuries. Since then he has been working in several clinics in and around London. 
While Mark has a passion for working with athletes he also has a particular interest in caring for patients with chronic conditions. In 2001 he completed a published Masters study on Osteoarthritis of the knee. 
Mark's treatment approach is very diverse and incorporates dry needling techniques and other muscle therapies as well as traditional chiropractic techniques.
 Mark’s interests include travelling, photography, all sports, especially rugby, music and reading.

Nicole Paine

Nicole has worked as a chiropractor and acupuncturist in Canada and has had the experience of running her own practice. Nicole decided to venture overseas to the UK in order to pursue her dreams of living in England and travelling Europe. She also has a passion for reading and photography.

Nicole has a special interest in treating sports injuries as she herself loves to keep fit by running, cycling, yoga and playing volleyball. She combines her various qualifications to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of problems like headaches/migraines, low back pain, neck pain, rotator cuff problems, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, ankle and knee pain, spinal disorders like disc problems and sprain/strain injuries in a holistic manner.

Nicole believes that a healthy lifestyle begins with dedication to oneself. In committing oneself to an active lifestyle you can achieve your health and wellness goals while reaping the benefits of a fit mind and body. Total body wellness encompasses many facets including diet, physical activity, stress reduction, mental/spiritual well being, and overall quality of daily life. Mike SellingsMike Sellings

Mike has been with Spirohealth since 2006 and worked as a Sport Massage Therapist. He graduated in 2002 from St Mary's College in Twickenham with a degree in sports re-habilitation and sports science, and is registered with the association BASRaT.

Since graduating he has a worked as a personal trainer before going on to work as a sports massage and rehabilitation therapist in several sport clubs and clinics

Having worked with a large number of injuries and areas of tension, Mike has been able to see the full benefits that sport massage can play in the rehabilitation process.

Mike has an interest in water sports, as well as playing regular football and golf.

Danielle VollerDanielle Voller

Danielle is qualified in a variety of massage techniques including: sports, deep-tissue, holistic, remedial, relaxation, and pregnancy.

Since completing her massage diploma Danielle has worked with the Harlequins Rugby League Squad, Rymans League Football and various other local sports clubs.  She has also worked in a variety of clinics and gained invaluable experience working with a wide range of clients.

Danielle uses a variety of massage techniques during her treatments and likes to incorporate stretching and mobilisation techniques to enhance her treatments.

With her love of keeping fit and active, Danielle is also qualified as an aerobics instructor and Lifeguard.  Her other passions include swimming and attending the gym. 

Danielle would like to add to her knowledge of sports massage by undertaking a course in sports nutrition.

Sabu Bhugobaun

 

Sabu has been involved in the counselling field since 1997 and after attaining an Advanced Certificate, he recognised that the anchoring of the human spirit is fundamental to authentic human life. This led him to train in Psychosynthesis at The Institute of Psychosynthesis, London. He is a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and firmly believes that basic human, emotional and psychological needs are to be seen and heard in times of suffering as well as in times of joy; and to be free from inner conditionings that no longer serve the individual. Sabu’s passion is to support others through this journey and to help facilitate the Soul or one’s authentic voice to speak, so that his clients can experience more of who they truly are, and be empowered and fulfilled in their choices. 

 

Nicholas RoddisNicholas Roddis

Qualified from the University of Johannesburg, Nicholas gained further clinical training at the Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital in Mumbai, India.

He returned to Johannesburg to work under Dr Miller of the InnovirInstitute. Though a purely medical clinic, the InnovirInstitute has an interest in the potential benefit of complementary medicine for people affected by HIV and related illnesses. It was in such a setting that wide scope of homeopathic medicine was seen.  Nicholas relocated to London in January 2008.

Nicholas is interested in all aspects of homeopathic practice- acute ailments and chronic illnesses alike. Nicholas has further interests in the benefits of colour therapy.

Anneliese BenzieAnneliese Benzie

After four years of study at the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London, Anneliese qualified as a nutritional therapist. She is a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) which imposes a strict Code of Ethics and Practice on its members.

Anneliese works with a variety of clients, including those with health problems that conventional medicine finds difficult to treat and those who are in good health but would like to give their diet an ‘MOT’.

Anneliese’s approach is to meet with you and understand your needs through careful questioning and research. She will then develop a unique eating and lifestyle programme just for you. Anneliese is a realist and appreciates that most of us lead busy lives which are often shaped by deeply rooted habits. There is nothing faddy about her approach and she offers full support along the way.

Anneliese enjoys pilates and running and is currently training for the London Marathon in 2009.

Practice Manager

Inshaaf, born and raised in sunny Cape Town, South Africa moved to London in 2006 where she is now living and working.

She enjoys travelling and since coming to the UK has travelled through most of Europe. Inshaaf has a keen interest in cooking. She also enjoys a good book, good music and spending time with friends.

She joined the Spirohealth Team in June 2007.
