Have you ever faced a new challenge in your life and felt like this had an impact on your physical health?

Suddenly you had more aches and pains or you can’t sleep? More acid reflux and constipation? YES these could be attributed to changes in your posture (structure).posture

Not only this but poor posture can even affect how you think. A study released in October 2009 in the European Journal of Psychology showed that body posture affects confidence in your own thoughts. You take more risks, you trust your own judgement when upright, more than slumped.

There is a particularly interesting blog article on the stress hormone- cortisol and posture relationship. READ IT HERE.

Roger Sperry PhD- Nobel prize winner in Physiology and Medicine 1981.

‘Better than 90% of the energy output of the brain is used in relating the physical body in its gravitational field. The more mechanically distorted a person is, the less energy available for healing, metabolism and thought.’

At Spirohealth ABC lifestyle clinic we focus on fixing your body. We see many changes in the state of our clients in just 1 visit- eyes are brighter, breathe easier, facial expression relaxes, colour changes as circulation improves and they generally feel more positive.
