Protein Power, High Fibre, Anti-inflammatory, Brain Food NO-OATS porridge

Brain food for your day. Short and sweet recipe for people on the go who want to stabilise blood sugar and get the energy boost they need for the day- WITHOUT THE HEAVY CARBS!

Eggs for protein, fruit and flax for fibre, spices for inflammation and great taste, nuts and seeds for a punchy brain boost! You can’t go wrong for YOU and your kids.

No sugar, dairy, wheat or gluten.

PALEO STYLE warm winter NO-OATS porridge inspired by Mark Sisson (click here for more on this amazing guy):

I use a nutribullet (LOVE THIS MACHINE) CLICK HEREPaleo porridge

Place all ingredients in a bullet cup

  • 1 organic banana (I freeze mine)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • small handful organic walnuts
  • small handful organic pecans
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch ginger powder
  • half teaspoon cinnamon
  • unsweetened almond/coconut milk to thin out

BLITZ AWAY!!!

Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to pan and melt. Add the mix and cook until think and creamy. You can choose your consistency.

Tip*** Do not boil as this will destroy the fat in the flax seed- and we cannot absorb it.

Topping: Anything you want really. I go for pumpkin seeds and organic kiwi but you can have strawberries or blueberries? Not sweet enough- a squeeze of maple syrup maybe?
