For some people exercising is a passion and they just cannot wait to get into the gym at the end of the work day. However, for others, the thought of working out especially frequently makes them want to cry.
If you are guilty of falling into the latter category and hate the thought of exercising I have compiled my top 5 tips of ways to work out and burn calories without realising it.
This could be going out dancing with your friends or putting your favourite songs on and turning the music up at home and spending 30 minutes dancing away.
We all need to spend some time each week tidying up our living space and straightening up is yet another way to get moving. Vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing are good calorie burners.
3. Take a walk
Take a nice stroll through your favourite area or local park. Walking is a great way to burn calories and get out the house.
4. Have Sex
We are all adults here. According to the journal PLOS One, sex burns 3.1 calories a minute in women and 4.2 calories a minute in men — about half of what is burned in a regular cardio exercise such as jogging.
5. Standing at your desk
It’s no surprise that there’s a strong correlation between sitting all day and an early grave. Why not fix your posture, strengthen your legs, and spend the day being more productive with a standing desk?
