Is a standing desk the answer?

Many people think that sitting all day can be counteracted by standing all day. After all sitting is deemed the new smoking so it seems like a good idea. Right?

At Spirohealth we think this is mostly incorrect and the research by Vernikos 2005 states:

it’s actually the change in posture that is the most powerful in terms of having a beneficial impact on your health, not the act of standing in and of itself
